Antalovetska Glade

In the framework of socially important program "Fat Men are also able to walk through the mountains", we went on a visit to Antalovetska glade, one of the attractions of Uzhhorod surroundings. Actually, you can climb the very glade in several ways (from Perechyn, Vorochevo and Nevytske). We decided to park the car near the castle and walk through the old military highway of 30-ies. The weather was not very hot, we kept it easy. In 20 minutes, we came to the first sights of the way - the house of forester.

The Village Vuchkove. The monument to the bee. Geyser.

The village Vuchkove (ua: Вучкове) Mizhgirya district is located at an altitude of 359 masl. Among the places of interest are the monument to the bee, geyser and mineral source in the tract near the village and the longest bridge in Mizhgirya district.

Shypot Waterfall

«Shypot» waterfall is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mizhgirya region. It is situated outside the village Pilipets (ua: Пилипець) on the river Ploshanka at the foot of the Borzhavskyj ridge between the spur Velykyj Verkh (1598 masl) and mount Gymba (1491 masl). There are beautiful fields at 100 meters above the waterfall where since 1993 the annual meetings of hippies and other alternative youth are held.

Polonyna Runa

Within the military – national agenda "Find the button on an old military object and launch a missile at Washington", we went to the most pop Mecca of Transcarpathian tourist paradise – Runa. Locally it is also called "Polonyna Runa" (the mountain meadow "Runa" - "plain") and "Polonyna Rіvna". The way which we have chosen, is worthy of a true traveler: Lumshory - Komsomolske Lake - Betonka - Polonyna Runa.

The church in the village Roztoka. Part one. Good story.

The village Roztoka (ua: Roztoka, union: Rostoka, outdated: Roztoka) Mizhgirya region is located at an altitude of 680 masl and is known of its Church of the Vvedenie (Introduction) of the Blessed Virgin. It was built in 1759.
