Chornaya Gora" (eng: Black Mountain; 565 m above sea level) is above the city
Vinogradov. It is formerly an active volcano, which belongs to
Vihorlat–Gutynskyj mountains volcanic ridge that begins near mount
Vihorlat (the words:
Vihorlat, ukr.
Вигорлят, alt:
Vygorlat). It is located in the eastern part of Slovakia and Ukraine. The highest point is 1076 m above sea level. The total length of the ridge on the territory of Ukraine is 125 km and the width is 8-20 km. The valleys of the tributaries of the rivers such as Tisa, Uzh, Latoritca, Borzhava and Rika divide a ridge into such parts: Makovytsya, Synyak, Velykyj Dyl, Tupoj and others. The middle height is 800-1000 m. The maximum is 1081 m, it is Mount Buzhora. The mountain system consists of volcanic rocks: andesite, basalt, tuffs. It is covered with oak, oak-hornbeam and beech forests. There are two reserves "Zacharovana dolyna" (Enchanted Valley) and “Chornaya Gora" (Black Mountain).

Church of St. Nicholas (
Nicholas Church) was built in the 15th century, more precisely in 1470, in the tract of Odarov (Ukrainian: Odariv) and later it was relocated to the present place. According to some historic facts, it performed the function of the church at an Orthodox monastery, situated on its territory for 330 years, and when the Austrian authorities closed the monastery, it was relocated to another spot.

Douglas fir - is an evergreen conifer of the Pinaceae genus. It is also known under the following names: Douglas, Duglasieva fir,
Douglas yalytsya (
Ukr), lzhettsuga tissolistaya, Menziesa Douglas (
Pseudotsuga menziesii), Pseudo-tsuga, Pseudotsuga,
Douglas-fir (
Eng). It is mentioned in some literature sources that this conifer is often erroneously called P. Taxifolia. The tree is named after the Scottish botanist David Douglas (1799-1834). Douglas fir is a relict tree. It grows in North America, Europe and Asia. Some species grow in Mexico. The life expectancy is up to 500 years. The average height varies from 20 to 100 meters, although some specimens can reach the height of 120 meters. Such examples were growing near the American town Mineral in Washington State. The average diameter is 1-2 meters, and only occasionally it can reach up to 4 meters. Douglas fir “is afraid” of spring and autumn frosts or prolonged drought, however, it is very undemanding in soil.
