The phenomenon of the sacred image in Velykyy Bereznyy

All believers of Transcarpathia and surrounding areas are astir. A resonant event took place in the village of Velykyy Bereznyy. The holy image has been recently manifested on the wall of one of the plant shops, lined with roofing iron, engaging in the processing of wood, which is situated near the center of Velykyy Bereznyy.

The monument in the village of Velyka Dobron

The Hungarian village of Velyka Dobron (Hung: Nagydobrony), of Uzhhorod region, was founded in 1250. The first mention of the village in the literature was in 1248. The names Dobron / Dubrum / Dubron were mentioned in the materials of 1270-1282’s and it was classified as a "royal estate". In the 14th century, the village was owned by the families Dobroni and Dobruskai. In the 15th century, the families Dobo, Pereni and Darovtsi owned it. And it was owned by Princes of Transylvania from the nominal genius of Rákóczi since 1638. The army of Ferenc II Rákóczi consisted of more than 600 peasants of Velyka Dobron.

A desolated church in Nyzhniy Bystryy

The village of Nyzhniy Bystryy, of Khust region has been known since 1668. It is situated on the bank of the river Rika at an altitude of 308 m. above sea level. It is a well known village, primarily due to the location of Tereblya-Rikska HPP in the pre – village of Protyven. In addition, there is a monument to the soldiers of three wars (WW1, WW2 and the Great Patriotic War) in the village; there are two water mills in the center of the village, one of which is 300 – year – old and desolated; and there is a stone church by the way – the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The kaolin mine "Kuklya". Part One.

In the scientific literature, these mines which are located near the town of Berehovo, are called kaolin, Berehovo active young people use the term "chalk caves", a small hill where they are dug, is called Berehivskyy, and the very mountain system - Berehivske horbohorye. In fact, people call this mountain as "Kuklya" and it is situated in the small village with the similar name "Kuklya", which is near the village of Muzhiyevo.
