The kaolin mine "Kuklya". Part two.
The continuation of narration about kaolin mines of the small village "
Kukli", near the village Muzhiyevo of Berehovo region. The beginning of the article -
here.
But the entrance to the main horizontal tunnel, closed by massive gates, is visible in this picture. Pay your attention to a big "rusty spot" on the green array. This is a "welded" patch after someone has cut a wide enough hole ... The rails go out from the gates, and the output of the duct is on the top.
Flyovers are quite "thin" in some places, but judging by the micro-repair, rails, and, in fact, the territory, some mining is still led and I'm not entirely sure that it is legal.
Please note that there is not part of the mountain and it is clearly seen how powerful deposits of kaolin are in the array of mountain. There is a lane-gully of storm water dyed layer of leaves in a white-clay color on the left.
By the way, there are several entrances to the system of the mines. We’ve heard about two of them and we went to scour a small slope. This entrance was discovered a few dozen meters from the main tunnel "ШТ 28 Бис" (SHT 28 Bis).
"Ceilings» are quite high. There is chalk dust everywhere, whatever you touch or catch...
Moving, traditionally, you come across the obstacles in the form of lattices and gates. If you look at the lock-fortification elements of obstacles, you realize that it is not difficult to climb inside, if you wish, but is it worth?!... :)
I've heard a lot of stories from Berehovo citizens about the heights, or rather depths, which can be achieved in the knowledge of the system of caves "
Kuklya". Everyone told his own story. If you descend the levels down for a long time, then tied with ropes to climb a few steep steps and move for a long time, you would be able to achieve the lowest tiers of caves and feel yourself as a real macho man. They say, all beauty is there, deeply down.
And here is the second entrance, or rather a manhole in the system of caves. It is situated well above the first two entrances. There are no bars and barriers on the bottom; it is a nude system of passages. We were warned that it is not worth trying to thrust into it without special equipment.
It is top view of the kaolin rocks and cliffs. It is a very interesting sight really.
But such a view is opened from the second manhole in the caves. The village Muzhiyevo lies before the eyes.
