Antalovetska Glade
In the framework of socially important program "
Fat Men are also able to walk through the mountains", we went on a visit to
Antalovetska glade, one of the attractions of Uzhhorod surroundings. Actually, you can climb the very glade in several ways (from Perechyn, Vorochevo and Nevytske). We decided to park the car near the castle and walk through the old military highway of 30-ies. The weather was not very hot, we kept it easy. In 20 minutes, we came to the first sights of the way - the house of forester.
There is neither electricity nor running water, nor sanitation. People just live, a cow, pigs and goats are favored. It is just natural products.
More 20 minutes of the way - and we're on an old tank directrix. Every time I pass by different command posts and marvel at how mercilessly nature demolishes derelict buildings. Bricks are not just cracked, and decayed, the walls are dampening and collapsing.
The road becomes a little bit worse – it is broken by timber transport. There is the mass of logging around the road. We tried to determine whether it was sanitary felling. But judging by the quality of some trunks – no, it is not sanitary. Except dead and rotted trees and quite healthy trees fall under the felling.
In half an hour of our walk from the directrix we see a rough turn from the arbor near the road.
There is an altar for the worship of Cthulhu near the arbor ...
... and a fontanel, with a rather stale water near the stone bowl (the famous "
Cup of Masaryk") ...
In the five-minute walk from the arbor, we find a flying construction in the form of two helium-filled balls with a postcard attached to it in German, dangling on the branches of roadside trees. As I understand this flying construction was sent by a small nemchur boy within Children's Festival «
Kinderfest-2007». In the “letter” the child asked to send a card at his address to indicate where it was found, and something on the theme of “let's be friends by families”.
Well, actually, this freely walking on flat forest roads ended and the next few kilometers to the glade, the road was a series of fairly steep slopes on which I used obscene language a little, however, I overpowered it without any difficulty.
And then the glade appeared before eyes, last time I was there at the age of 6-7.
The first thing that "struck", or rather in nostrils, was very strong, rich and varied scent of meadow flowers. I stood "struck" and even through the cold I inhaled simply "amazing" flavor.
I, frankly, was very impressed by diverse flora of the glade. Just a huge number of any specific alpine plants grow all around.
All this is interspersed with "traditional" - tansy, thyme, tutsan and others, strongly scented Bothans.
But we came across boulders, overgrown with moss and blueberry bushes.
We found a tree with a table for the rest under it in the middle of the glade. Still the soul of tourist solidarity is very happy. It is in the city they can just go and screw up people's property, in the mountains - it's different. Of course, I do not mean something very close to the zone affected by "picnic fever".
The representative of the local fauna sat on the table and moved its mustaches, staring at me.
Moustached green one did not run away for a long time and stared at the intruders.
The predators were circling over the meadow. The butterflies were flying from flower to flower. Everything was very nice and lovingly.
Having a lot of walking and making photo we moved back. Before retiring I visited GPRG in the phone Internet to find information about where exactly on the glade, at least, any source of drinking water was located (our water ended, and we had terrible thirst). The information was found - the source was 150 meters down the road into the direction to Nevytske. We began to descend – found and replenished water supplies. And how delicious this water - no words! You do not taste such water in any sources: "Near bears" in Perechyn region, nor "Orikhovske", nor near the cognac plant.
Who is interested,
a panoramic picture of Antalovetska glade. 605 Kb. The quality is not very good – the photo was made of 8 pictures, 6 of which were completely damaged.
The total length of the route is 9 km one way. In total, we "walked up" about 20. And all this was over the mountains and on fresh air. The rise took us 3.5 hours the descent - 2,5 hours. The route is very recommended to all lovers of nature.
