Borzhava narrow-gauge railway. Part Three.
The continuation of the
report about the visit on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the "Borzhava narrow gauge" (among the people it is called "Kushnytska Antsya").
The head of the station is pissing, the machinist is looking. It is a joke. It is simply a view.
While food for the buffet was preparing, we were taken on a tour to the old bridge and the semaphore. Along the way, it was told about all the structural elements which came across our path.
That is, for example, the old boiler room.
The boiler, manufactured in the city of Kaluga (Russia) is in it.
And here is the old water tower to fill the old steam locomotives. It has not been used for a long time.
And here is - a unique piece. It is a device for controlling the semaphore. It is as old as whole life itself.
Two wire cords are stretching from this device to the semaphore.
They are stretching through such «repeaters» which distribute and balance the load on the cords through a system of rollers and accurately convey it to the following "repeaters" or on the mechanical elements of the semaphore.
And here are two types of rails are connected. R-25 and R-15. That is the way of marking rails. The number after the letter shows the weight of meter in kilograms.
This is the bridge over the river Borzhava. Underneath the river Irshavka flows into Borzhava River. The bridge was built somewhere (not here), and transported and installed at this place later.

And this is one of the indifferent persons, the founder of "Borzhavska Initiative", Dennis Dobra. Whole his adult life he has made every effort to restore and promote the "Antsya".
And here is the semaphore. Once it was completely mechanical. Then two lamps were attached and mechanics began not only to raise the "pointer" but to "overlap" light of one lamp.
There are some old cars on railroad tracks at the station Khmelnyk. This one is made in Poland.
This one is more comfortable and modern - have made suggestions.
Here two employees of the station uncouple the train and the locomotive.
And this is Yosyp Torpoi, the head of the Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development, completes the cooking of "Holosleya", Hungarian counterpart with our fish soup "Uha". The buffet will begin in a few minutes. It will be with chicken kebab, bograch, uha, vodka, beer, and good mood.
